Modern materials and elegant sculpture dominate this pocket-sized garden, which was included in the third series of BBC-tv’s Small Town Gardens. Fabric-like steel mesh screens interlaced with bamboo provide screening from the outside world. The sound and movement of water, essential in every garden, completes this urban sanctuary. ‘Falling Water’, the famous building designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, was the inspiration for this unique water feature.
